A charming Artoria Limoges hand painted porcelain hinged trinket box that features an arched window with a window box full of colorful flowers with a purple vine crawling up the sides. The window view is an elegant room with a vase of flowers on top of a piano. It has a unique clasp that's in the shape of a vase full of flowers. It's in very nice condition without chips or cracks and closes securely. It measures approximately 3 1/8" high, 2 1/4" wide and 1" deep. The bottom of the box reads Artoria Peint Main Limoges France No. 53 03. Artoria Limoges is a family owned business located ono the banks of the Vienne river in the city of Limoges France. They manufacture their own porcelain and their artists use many of the same techniques to create their boxes used by Limoges artisans for centuries. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
